Job Description: Based in Edmonton, the individual in this position will be responsible for accepting and tendering air cargo for the air carriers that we represent. They will be required to learn the different systems for each air carrier and represent the carriers meeting all BBE and the carriers expectations and culture. The individual will be required to do all documentation and physically handle the freight while ensuring that all Transport Canada regulations are met.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the Company’s Safety Management program and demonstrate knowledge of employee responsibilities regarding safety
- Ensure you have a full understanding of Transport Canada regulations and abide by them while maintaining all necessary records and standards
- Maintaining a high level of Customer Service and keeping within our Mission Statement
- Process and resolve operational problems in your department as they arise and provide support to all departments
- Maintain accurate record keeping as required by various government agencies and Company policies
- Facilitate the communication of critical information in a timely manner
- Ensure that all workplace issues, including barriers to high level Customer Service, are brought to the attention of the Management team
- Perform all other responsibilities as required
- Other duties as assigned

- Two or more years customer service experience or airline experience is considered an asset
- Understanding and background in Customs regulations and Transport Canada cargo regulations is considered an asset
